Hi Ho Hi Ho It's off to the Dairy Congress Show!

This morning we all went to the opening ceremonies of the Dairy Congress Show.  Glen and Barry have a booth with Prairie Custom Farming Ltd.  We enjoyed the pancake breakfast, escpecially Levi as we have recently found out that Levi LOVES pancakes.  Then we toured the other booths and checked out the petting zoo.  Levi was a little bit concerned about the ducks but loved petting the little bunnys, sheep, and goats.  Tonight we have the BBQ which should be a treat as well.  All in all a great day.  Getting used to the whole smell of farming!

Poor Gunner

Well, I finally bit the bullet and had Gunner neutered.  Poor guy seemed quite sad about losing this one bit of masculinity.  My only hope is that he will now stay around the house more instead of running to the neighbours.  Today Gunner was also shaved....sooo cute!!  He looks like an oversized rat but with his puppy charm!  I think he is a little unsure about this but I am happy cause now he won't be so hot and stinky and sheddy all the time.

Wow!

Wow!  Has it really been over three years since my last post?!?  Well things have definently changed.  The biggest change (which came in the smallest package) would be our son, Levi.  He is already over 10 months old!  Such a blessing to us already and he's not even one yet!  Well we are going to be enjoying a great summer and hopefully I can share some with you all.

19 years ago I became an older sister and although I have my ups and downs with her I love her to death!!! Happy Birthday to the prettiest, cutest, sweetest little sis. I love you!!

eeeeee, I'm Getting Married

Every girl dreams of this day and it has finally come for me, yup it's 12:09am on Saturday April 14th and I am getting married today. So surreal, so cool. So far everything is set and ready to go, I know there is going to be a mix up but oh well, that's what a memory is for. So needless to say I won't be blogging much for the next while, Glen and I are going to Hawaii and then i move into a house where there is no computer!!! I need to invest in one, so I will try and blog as much as I can when I am at the parents houses, so I can post my wedding pics. Well I gotta go and get my beauty sleep, I hope everyone has a great couple of weeks cause I sure am!! Blog you all later!!!

Caffeine

I have finally finished my three night, 12 hour shifts, work week. I don't drink coffee, but in some sense I wish I did, cause I am finding it extremely hard to stay awake at night. The thing about night shifts is not the work, which is quite easy, cause everyone's asleep, it's the NOT falling asleep part that's tough. I've been trying alot of stuff, but still at that 3am ring I am fighting to keep my eyes open. Pop, candy, walking around the unit several times, tea....the list does go on. It also doesn't help when your sitting with your baby for the night, rocking him to sleep, in a dark, warm room, with soft baby music playing in the background. So far though, my trick is Coke and Orange Pekoe tea. They can make me last till I crash at home. I'm just worried when those wear out....then what!! Will I be succumbed to the head bobbing, eye twiching manic!?!
