Weird Wedding Dreams
As my wedding is fast approaching I have been experiencing several "wedding" dreams. The dreams always end in an awkward situation where I don't remember anything and something or someone is missing. For example the dream I had two nights ago was of getting ready to walk down the aisle when I needed to run to the kitchen for something which when I got there I had no idea what I was looking for, by the time I got back to walking down the aisle My Dad told me that I was late and that they had to postpone the wedding for 2 hours. When we finally were ready to go, two hours later, my Dad was missing! Or the other dream where we were all at the reception and I realized that I didn't even remember getting married. Needless to say I know that there will be many more to come in the next month and a half.

Longer, Brighter Days

As the winter rolls into summer, I am quite excited about the longer, brighter days....these are my reasons why,
1. It's easier to wake up in the morning cause the sun is shining
2. I can walk easily to and from my car without thinking that someone is going to jump me, and if there is someone at least I will see them in time.
3. Brighter, longer days mean that Summer is coming
4. Seeing the deer and moose on the road is easier to spot
5. You can stay out late and not even feel tired because it's still bright outside
6. You feel more energetic
7. The fear of getting seasonal defective disorder or cabin fever, is a non issue
8. The sun helps produce Vitamin D which is essential for strong bones and promoting a strong immune system
9. A great tanning situation

Pet Peeve of the Week

It's something that occurs at around 8 in the morning and then again at around 4 in the afternoon. Which I have been subject to for the beginning of this week. If you haven't guessed it yet its driving and not neccessarily me but all the other drivers. Rush hour, which isn't that bad except this week seemed to frustrate me the most. On Monday morning the forecast is cold winds, including flurries and freezing rain. Thinking like most normal people I'd have to leave for work a bit early as the roads would be icy. Driving to work people are in the ditch everywhere, flipped over, a million accidents everywhere. The next day Tuesday, includes all the same slow driving, even though the roads are quite alright to drive the speed limit. Wednesday morning comes and all the same people are now driving like normal people. Nothing to bad, except for the next freezing rain episode. Then all the cars, trucks, vans, semi's are in the ditch again, flipped over again, in dissary again and a million accidents everywhere again. Don't people ever learn their lessons. Freezing rain + driving + rush hour = slippery roads!! Another pet peeve that I need to throw in is the fact that on Monday, the iciest day of the week, drivers are breaking ubruptly on sheer ice. Making everyone behind them brake. It's bound to happen that one car isn't watching the road and then we have a 10 car pile up. PLUS braking abruptly not only makes the roads icier for the next vehicle, but is almost the worst thing to do on icy roads. Anyways, thats all I have to say about that.

Replacing A Motor
Glen was supposed to be hauling fuel on the ice roads for the mines this month, but while driving the trucks motor died, so now he is back which I am very happy about, but now they have to replace a motor. A daunting task for the immature but not for Glen and his brother who replaced the trucks motor with in 40 hours!! I am so proud of him. I tried helping, but apparently I am not a good mechanic, so I took the pictures. By the end of the day Glens face was so black his beard looked blonde.

Here the new motor is being lowered into the truck.
Coffee Break!
